Roles & permissions
Chronos uses three organization roles. Platform-only roles (for Chiwiro operators) are outside this public guide.

Important rules
- Managers cannot invite, disable, or enable other managers or admins.
- You cannot disable yourself.
- An organization cannot disable its last remaining admin.
- Legacy stored value
useris treated as team member when profiles load.
Practical takeaway
If someone cannot see Settings, approve PTO, or clock in, check their role first — most “permission” tickets are a role mismatch, not a bug.
